What we collect and skip

When you open a page on intbbrokerin.com, you are reading an editorial review. This site is not a broker, is not affiliated with Interactive Brokers, and does not offer accounts, deposits, or financial advice. Because of that, most of the information you would give a financial firm is simply not requested here. We do not ask for your name, your address, your phone number, your PAN, your Aadhaar details, your bank account, your income, or any proof of identity. There is no account to open, no deposit form, and no advisory intake.

What we do receive is the ordinary technical data that any website gets when a browser connects. This may include the pages you opened, the time of your visit, the referring page, your approximate region derived from an IP address, the type of device and browser, and the language setting your browser sends. If you write to us through the contact form on this site, we receive what you choose to type there, such as your message and whatever contact detail you decide to include.

We do not buy personal data, we do not scrape profiles, and we do not combine what you type in the contact form with the pages you read. We do not ask for or store financial credentials of any kind.

How long records stay

Technical logs that keep the site running and secure are kept for a short operational period, normally a few weeks, and are then removed or overwritten in the ordinary course of server maintenance. If those logs are aggregated into measurement figures, the aggregated form is kept longer because it no longer identifies anyone.

Messages you send through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to deal with your question and any follow-up, and then for a reasonable period so that we can remember the context if you write again. If you ask us to delete your message, we remove it unless we are required to keep it for a legal or security reason, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Aggregated measurement - page counts, rough regional totals, device shares - is kept for as long as it is useful for editorial planning, and it does not contain anything that points back to a single reader.

Analytics and aggregated measurement

We use measurement tools to understand which review pages are read and which parts of the site need work. Those tools record visits in a way that is meant to measure traffic, not to build a profile of you. We look at totals and patterns: how many people opened a page, which sections were read, where readers came from in broad terms, and what devices they used.

We do not use the measurement to identify you personally, to follow you across other sites for advertising, or to sell your attention to anyone. If a tool offers a personalised advertising feature, we do not enable it on this site. We do not run remarketing or audience-matching campaigns.

Where the law requires a consent step for certain cookies or measurement, we ask before those are set, and you can refuse without losing access to the review content. Refusing measurement does not block the pages.

Children and age limits

This site is written for adults who want to read an independent review of a broker. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Because the subject is brokerage and investing, the content is meant for people who can legally make their own financial decisions in their jurisdiction.

If you are under 18, please do not use the contact form and do not send us personal details. If we learn that a message or a record relates to a child, we will delete it. If you believe a child has sent information to this site, write through the contact form on this site and we will remove it.

Where data sits and your rights

The site is run from servers and services that may sit outside India, and our service providers may process technical data in other countries. That means your technical data may be handled under the laws of those places, which can differ from Indian law. We choose providers that are expected to protect data, but we do not claim any specific certification or regulatory status for this site or for them.

Recipients are limited to those who help run the site: hosting, security, and measurement providers, and anyone who helps us answer your message. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with brokers, platforms, or advertisers. We may disclose data if a lawful request requires it, and we will limit what we give to what is asked.

You can ask what technical data or contact-form message we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for correction, ask for deletion, or object to a particular use. You can also withdraw a consent you gave earlier. To do any of this, use the contact form on this site and describe your request; we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority that applies to you.
